Being part of The Lighthouse Project doesn’t have to start with giving your time.

Sometimes it’s as simple as:

Become a Lighthouse

For those who want to take a more active role, you can choose to become a Lighthouse.

That might look like:

Being someone available for a call when someone feels unsafe 

Offering reassurance in a moment that matters 

Being present when someone needs support 

It’s not about having all the answers.
It’s about being willing to show up.

Use What You Already Have

Many people already have skills, experience, or knowledge that could make a real difference.

You might be:

A therapist or counsellor 

A support worker 

A teacher or mentor 

Someone with lived experience 

Someone offering classes, guidance, or safe spaces 

There are ways to integrate what you already do into The Lighthouse Project

whether that’s being visible on the platform, offering services, or supporting people directly.

This is about connecting what already exists into something stronger.

Volunteer in Real Ways

For those who want to be more hands-on, there are opportunities to support on the ground.

Through Her Shoes, this could include:

Helping distribute essential items 

Supporting women in real-life situations 

Assisting with outreach 

Providing presence in spaces like courts or hospitals 

Helping us deliver care, support, and dignity in moments that matter
