What is Lighthouse

A lighthouse is not just a system, it’s a person, a place, a presence. Individuals, organizations, and businesses can become part of the network by choosing to stand as visible points of safety and support within their communities. From offering a safe space, resources, partnerships, or simply being aligned with the mission.

Safety grows when people choose to show up for each other.

Why the lighthouse?

Who Uses The Lighthouse

What is Lighthouse

Because safety shouldn’t start in a crisis.
Too often, women are left to figure things out during the hardest moments, with no clear support in place. We exist to change that.

Creating safety, connection and support that doesn’t disappear when things get hard. This isn’t just an app. It’s a network, a presence, and a promise that no woman has to navigate those moments alone.

Why We Exist

The Lighthouse Project began as a dream in the dark.

At just 14 years old, our founder imagined something different for girls and women everywhere, A way to feel seen, supported, and safe in moments where they would otherwise feel alone. The dream began. She didn’t have the words for it then. But she knew one thing clearly:

silence should never be the only option.

She imagined a signal. A way to reach out without fear. A system where someone, somewhere, could respond. That idea stuck with her always.

Years later, she met many people who shared her story, and as technology caught up to what once felt impossible, that vision became something real, something achievable.

The Lighthouse Project is more than an app. Now with a whole team behind and believing in its purpose. It’s a response to the moments no one prepares you for. A network built on connection, trust, and presence, before, during, and after crisis.

From that same foundation came Her Shoes, meeting women where they are, and Eve & Lil, helping sustain and grow the mission.
